Election Day 2024 in Harris County: Everything You Need to Know

Voter Registration and Eligibility

Eligibility

To vote in Texas, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Be a U.S. citizen
  • Be 18 years old on or before Election Day
  • Have resided in Texas for at least 30 days
  • Not be convicted of a felony (unless you have completed your sentence, including any probation or parole)

Early Voting and Election Day Voting

For the 2024 election, early voting will take place from October 20th to November 4th.

Election Day is Tuesday, November 8th.

Election Day Voting

On Election Day, you must vote at your assigned polling location.

Polls will be open from 7 AM to 7 PM.

Bring your voter ID with you when you vote.
