Microsoft users worldwide, including banks and airlines, reported widespread outages Friday hours after the company said it was fixing an issue. The outages began around 10:00 AM UTC and affected users in Europe, North America, and Asia.
Numerous banks, including Barclays, HSBC, and Lloyds, reported technical glitches that prevented customers from accessing their accounts or making payments. Airlines such as British Airways and Lufthansa also reported issues, with flights being delayed or canceled.
The London Stock Exchange was also affected by the outage, with trading being suspended for several hours. The outage caused significant disruption to businesses and individuals, with many unable to access critical services.
